His lifelong passion for natural, plant-based cuisine has taken him around the world, from teaching and cooking in top natural food establishments in the UK, Italy, and Spain, to his current role as Head Chef at Happy Me Kitchen in Gothenburg.

Meet Jack, our dynamic and passionate natural whole foods chef at the heart of our forest retreat. Jack’s culinary journey began at the tender age of 9, immersing himself in the art of cooking within his macrobiotic family. Growing up under the guidance of his parents—a skilled whole foods chef and a shiatsu practitioner/dietary counselor—he absorbed the healing properties of natural whole foods, a foundation that shapes his approach to plant-based cuisine.
Jack’s culinary prowess extends across the globe, having taught and cooked in premier natural foods establishments in the UK, Italy, Spain, and now Sweden. His remarkable journey led him to the enchanting forests of Gothenburg as the Head Chef of Happy Me Kitchen.
With a lifetime of experience and a genuine passion for crafting nourishing plant-based cuisine, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our forest retreat.
